On June 10, 2009, Weifang Zhongqi Dianli organized a summit forum on information technology for large and medium-sized enterprises. The conference focused on the promotion and application of the Internet, highlighting that leveraging online channels to disseminate information and expand business is an inevitable trend. Haiyu Company registered several Chinese‑English domain names, including haiyu.com, haiyu.cc, haiyu-shoe.com.cn, haiyu-shoe.cn, and haiyu/mobi, using the Internet to strengthen its brand presence. The company was recognized as an “Application Unit for the National Initiative to Promote Chinese‑Language Internet Access,” and its chairman posed for a commemorative photo with Luo Bei, Operations Director at the China Internet Network Information Center, during the event.
